Amazing Soft is a mobile app development company in Bucharest, Romania, publishing iOS and Android apps on the App Store and Google Play since 2016. We build in Flutter when one codebase should serve both stores, and in Swift or Kotlin when the app needs native code, and we keep the apps running after launch.
Flutter app development. One codebase, both stores
For most business apps, Flutter is the sensible choice: one codebase in Dart for iPhone and Android, which can also run on the web or on desktop. The Alcedo catalogue app moved to Flutter in its version 4.0, then its public and internal apps were merged into one. Our own Listero is built in Flutter for iPhone and Android, with companion apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS and a home-screen widget.
Native when the app needs it. Swift and Kotlin
Some apps depend on device-specific features, the watch or widgets, and native code serves them better. CalorieTracking, which we built for Frost Nova, is a native iPhone app in Swift and SwiftUI: you photograph the plate, and the AI fills in the calories and macronutrients. On Android, native means Kotlin, including for Wear OS.

For companies outside Romania. EU time zone, in English
Bucharest is on Eastern European Time: two hours ahead of London, seven ahead of New York and Toronto, one to two hours behind Dubai. We work in English, invoice companies abroad in EUR, USD, GBP or CAD (other currencies on request, where our banks can receive them), as stated in the quote, and for new projects the developer accounts are opened in your company’s name. Markets. We work with companies in Romania, Europe, the Middle East and North America. For Rikbits, a children’s building-blocks brand in the UAE, we built the shop and make the campaign graphics.
How we work. From idea to store
We start with the main screens as a clickable prototype, before any code is written, so you can test them with real users. Then we build in versions you see and test along the way. We handle the developer accounts, Apple’s and Google’s requirements and the store release, and after launch monthly support covers updates for new iOS and Android versions, monitoring and new features.
