Context
Listero is our app for running a household. It brings together to-do and shopping lists, chores split between the people who live together, expenses, the monthly budget and the pantry inventory. Lists can be shared with other users.
We made all of it: the brand identity, the design, the app with its server and the website. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Where we started
In most homes, shopping lists, chores and expenses end up in different apps, and some things get forgotten. Listero brings them all together in one place.
The requirements followed from that:
- an interface that is clear from the first use, with no long onboarding tour;
- lists that also work without an internet connection;
- a brand that is easy to recognise in the app stores, from the icon to the screenshots;
- a website that leads visitors to the download.
What we built
The brand identity, collected in a brand book: the logo and its variants, the colours, the typography and the rules for using them. The main logo sets the four-shape mark beside the name and the tagline “From to-do to done”.
The app design, in the same visual language as the brand, from the icon to every screen.
The app, for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS, with a home-screen widget. Data is saved on the phone, so the lists work without an internet connection. The app’s server, which we also wrote, runs in the European Union and checks subscriptions.
The website, listero.app: the main features and how the app looks, in images and short copy, with the App Store and Google Play buttons in plain sight.
Result
