Software development from Romania. For US and Canadian companies

On a standard Bucharest day we overlap two live hours with US Eastern time. If your project needs more, the people on it can work a shifted schedule, and the exact hours go into the contract. Amazing Soft is a software company in Bucharest, Romania, founded in 2016. We build AI automation, mobile apps and custom software for companies in Romania, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

Overlap hours, in writing. Before you sign

If you searched “nearshore”, you probably found Latin America; that is what the word means for most US buyers. From Bucharest we overlap two live hours with US Eastern time on a standard day, and up to five on a shifted schedule for the people on your project. The hours go into the contract before you sign, and what you get for them is written too: a handover each morning of what was done overnight, and the person who did it on the call.

Overlap hours. Computed, not promised

Bucharest is seven hours ahead of New York, Toronto and Montréal, eight ahead of Chicago and ten ahead of Los Angeles and Vancouver. Your working day is taken as 9:00–17:00 local time.

Computed on 19 October 2026 from the IANA time zones Europe/Bucharest, America/New_York, America/Chicago and America/Los_Angeles. Europe and North America change their clocks on different dates, so for about a week in late October and two weeks in March the Eastern and Central columns gain one hour, and the shifted Pacific rows too.

The shifted schedule applies to the people working on your project, not to the whole company. The contract names the schedule, the hours and the people. If you need a full Pacific working day, a team in Latin America fits better, and we tell you so in the first call.

What we build. Three lines of work

AI automation.
Supplier invoices that post themselves into your ERP, customer requests routed with a draft reply ready, reports that go out without anyone building them. Built on top of the systems you already run, with a person in the loop where it matters. For a small team, see AI automation for small business. AI automation →

Mobile apps.
iOS and Android apps for your customers, field apps for your team, and existing apps we take over and keep running. Flutter for both stores from one codebase, Swift and Kotlin when the app needs native code. More on how we work as a mobile app development company in Romania. Mobile apps →

Custom software.
Web applications, customer portals, integrations with your ERP or CRM, and legacy systems brought up to date in steps. Custom software →

How we contract and invoice. In writing, before work starts

  • The contract. A written quote that sets out what is built, in what order and which hours overlap with yours. Later work is added by written work order, under our Terms of Service.
  • Invoices. In EUR, USD, GBP or CAD (other currencies on request, where our banks can receive them), as stated in the quote, by bank transfer.
  • Personal data. Our data processing agreement, the list of sub-processors and the security measures are public on the legal pages.
  • Tax documents. For companies abroad, our certificate of tax residence and the documents needed to apply the double taxation convention.
  • At handover. We hand over the domain, the hosting, the accounts, the files and the documentation.

The cost is agreed after the consultation.

Working with Canadian companies. Toronto and Montréal, same hours as New York

Toronto and Montréal sit in the Eastern column of the table above, so the overlap is the same as for New York: two hours on our standard day, more on a shifted schedule agreed in the contract. Vancouver follows the Pacific column. We work in English, and for Québec we have already built and maintained a site in English and French. Invoices go out in the currency set in the quote: EUR, USD, GBP or CAD, and other currencies on request, where our banks can receive them. Every client gets the same data processing agreement. PIPEDA asks an organisation that transfers personal information to a third party for processing to use contractual or other means to provide a comparable level of protection (Schedule 1, clause 4.1.3). For Canadian companies, our data processing agreement is the contract we offer for that purpose.

Questions. Short answers

On a standard Bucharest day, two hours with US Eastern time, one with Central and none with Pacific. If your project needs more, the people on it can work a shifted schedule; the table above shows what each option gives. The exact hours and the people go into the contract.
No. For most US buyers the word means Latin America, where a team shares six or more hours of your day. From Romania the real figure is two hours with the East Coast on a standard day, more on a shifted schedule set in the contract, and little or none with the West Coast. That is why we give you the table, not the label.
Yes. Companies outside Romania are invoiced in EUR, USD, GBP or CAD (other currencies on request, where our banks can receive them), as stated in the quote. Bank and currency charges are set out in our Terms of Service.
Yes, but with one or two live hours a day at most. That works for projects run on written specifications and versions you test, with a short daily call. If your team needs someone online through the whole Pacific day, we say so in the first conversation.
