Context
Tărâmul Cerbilor is a leisure estate in the countryside, in the village of Călăparu, near Turceni, in Gorj county, Romania. People come to see the red and roe deer, sleep in a cabin in the forest, join guided experiences, eat and go to events.
The old site was a single long page. Accommodation, experiences and events had no pages of their own, opening hours and prices were hard to find, and the site could not grow without a programmer. In August 2026 we launched the new website, in Romanian and English.
From one page to a full site
- Tickets, accommodation and experiences, one click from the first screen.
- Opening hours and entry conditions in plain view, matching the ticketing system.
- A page each for Experiences, Events, Accommodation, About and Contact, which the estate’s team can update themselves.
- A complete English version.
- The animated logo, the intro video and the scroll animations, kept from the old page.
What we built
We built the whole site in Elementor, so that texts, photographs, prices and opening hours can be changed from the admin panel by the estate’s team. The logo, the photographs and the video are theirs; we set them out on the new pages.
- The homepage. It opens with the video and the buttons to tickets, accommodation and experiences. Then come the estate’s story and map, where to find it, the facilities in four categories and the weekly calendar.
- Colours and fonts, set once for the whole site. The reveal-on-scroll animations stayed.
- The Experiences, Events, Accommodation, About and Contact pages, built from scratch, which the estate’s team can change without waiting for us. Their opening hours and rates are the same as in the ticketing system.
The Accommodation page, one of the pages built from scratch
- The English version: six pages, each linked to its Romanian counterpart, so that Google sends visitors to the page in their language. Menus and cookie messages are translated, and old addresses forward automatically to the new pages.
- Checks on phone and tablet, before launch.
After launch
We still look after the site: new content, technical updates and graphics, on request.
Result
The site launched in August 2026 has six pages in Romanian and six in English, linked in pairs. Tickets, stays and experiences are one click from the homepage, and the opening hours on the site match the ticketing system.
