Context
Singureni Manor Events hosts events in the middle of the forest, at Singureni Manor, near Bucharest: outdoor weddings, corporate events and private events. We made the events website in 2023, in Romanian and English.
For Singureni Manor we also made the manor’s site, the site of the La Hambar restaurant and the two polo sites.
Why a separate site
Someone planning a wedding or a company event is not looking for the same things as someone booking a night’s stay. They want to see the place, find out what can be held there and ask for a quote. That is why the events have a site of their own, separate from the manor’s.
The site had to show the place rather than describe it, through large photographs and video.
What we built
A site on a black background, where the photographs and the video from the forest stand out. The homepage moves in turn through private events, outdoor weddings and corporate events, then the long table in the forest and the photo gallery.
The site has nine pages: Home, Our Event Venues, Private Events, Exclusive Weddings, Wedding Services, Corporate Events, Stay With Us, FAQ and Contact. Each type of event has its own page, and the venues page presents the six spaces where events can be held.
The enquiry form comes last; it asks for the type of event, the preferred venue and the date. The first message already says what kind of event it is about.
After launch
We have maintained the site since 2024: technical and content updates, on request.
Result
A site in Romanian and English where the place speaks for itself: the forest and the laid tables are the first things you see.
