Context
Curbat.ro, based in Dobroești, Ilfov County, makes curved fronts and components to order for the furniture industry: painted, veneered, or clad in HPL and CPL. We built its website on WordPress.
The firm works both for furniture makers and for private customers who want something distinctive for their homes. Before they order, the website had to tell them which thicknesses could be curved, how large a piece could be, how to send the drawing and what would happen next.
What customers needed to find
- The technical specifications, visible from the homepage: thicknesses, maximum dimensions, types of finish.
- An ordering guide in steps, for anyone ordering for the first time.
- The portfolio of completed work, because with a product like this a photograph shows best what can be done.
- The second product line, geodesic domes, presented apart from the fronts.
- The phone number and the orders address, easy to find.
What we built
The homepage says what the firm does and within what limits: the types of finish, thicknesses from 8 to 40+ mm, and the largest size of a piece, 2750/2000 mm.
The customer guide is split into numbered steps, from the drawing with the curved elements numbered through to collecting the order and paying the balance. The portfolio shows completed work. The geodesic domes have their own page, apart from the fronts, and the phone number and orders address appear at the very top of the homepage and in the site footer.
