Context
The Carol Davila Post-Secondary School in Balș trains general nurses, a qualification recognised in the European Union and beyond. We built the school’s website, on WordPress.
Anyone thinking of enrolling looks for a handful of things: what qualification they will get, where they can work with it, which documents they need and when enrolment closes. The website puts these in plain view.
What the site had to offer
- The educational offer, clear from the start: the general nurse qualification and its recognition in the European Union.
- Enrolment, with the steps and the documents required, on a page of its own.
- Official notices, easy to find.
- A website that can also be used with a keyboard or a screen reader.
What we built
The homepage leads straight to the qualification and the enrolment button. The main pages are About us, Educational offer, Enrolment and Contact, and notices have their own section, so they are not lost among the fixed pages.
The site has a link that skips past the menu straight to the content, and an accessibility toolbar for people who navigate with a keyboard or have impaired sight.
