Nearshore software development in Romania. For UK and EU companies

For a company in the UK or the EU, Amazing Soft is nearshore in the plain sense of the word: a software company in Bucharest, two hours ahead of London and one hour ahead of Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam, working the same day as you. We build custom software, mobile apps and AI automation, since 2016, in English.

The same working day. Two hours ahead of London

Our day in Bucharest runs 9:00–18:00 Eastern European Time, which is 7:00–16:00 in London and 8:00–17:00 in Berlin or Amsterdam. Against a 9:00–17:00 day, that is seven shared hours with the UK and eight with Central Europe. The UK and the EU change their clocks on the same dates, so the gap stays the same all year. Calls, reviews and releases happen in your working hours, not after them.

What we build. Three lines of work

AI automation.
Invoices, orders and documents that enter your ERP, CRM or accounting without copy-paste; AI agents that answer customers from your own documents, with a person in the loop where it matters. For a small team, see AI automation for small business. AI automation →

Mobile apps.
iOS and Android apps for customers and field teams, in Flutter or native, and existing apps we take over and keep running. More on how we work as a mobile app development company in Romania. Mobile apps →

Custom software.
Web applications, portals, integrations and legacy systems brought up to date in steps, without stopping the business. Custom software →

Data and invoices. Under EU rules

Romania is in the European Union, so GDPR applies to us directly. Our data processing agreement, the list of sub-processors and the technical and organisational measures are public on the legal pages, and you can read them before the first call. For UK companies, UK law treats the EEA as adequate (Data Protection Act 2018, Schedule 21), so data can be sent to us without additional safeguards; if your policies require one, we sign the UK International Data Transfer Addendum on request. Our infrastructure runs on servers in the European Union. Companies outside Romania are invoiced in EUR, USD, GBP or CAD (other currencies on request, where our banks can receive them), as stated in the quote. At handover, we hand over the domain, the hosting, the accounts, the files and the documentation.

Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. One hour ahead

From Berlin, Vienna, Zurich or Amsterdam, Bucharest is one hour ahead: your morning stand-up is our late morning, and the working day is shared almost in full. Invoices are in EUR. For companies in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, the GDPR and our data processing agreement apply as they do at home; for Switzerland, the same written agreement covers the data we process for you. We work in English and Romanian, not in German or Dutch.
