The client is a company that makes software used by professionals in film and television production. Since 2016 we have worked on its product, month after month. The client’s name and its products do not appear here.
What matters in a product like this
Software of this kind is developed over the long term and has a very large codebase. The people who use it work against production deadlines, so what worked in one version has to work in the next.
That is why continuity matters: the people who know the code keep working on it.
